Not only is Sumatra one of my favorite coffee blends, but Starbucks' version is one of the best of the best. For a real treat, try the Aged Sumatra when it's available (wish it were more often) and my new discovery if you like one with a tad less "bite": sun-dried Sumatra. Yes, this is VERY bold (when made right), just like my other fave, Komodo Dragon, but if you're going to drink coffee, go all the way :)!

This is simply great coffee. Have tried (most) of the other blends, including the highly regarded "Dragon" variety but keep coming back to Sumatra. For a great breakfast coffee, mix half Sumatra with half House Blend in your burr grinder and you can't go wrong.

I am a true coffee enthusiast (50 years and counting).
As Sumatra coffee plantations were damaged in a tsunami,and as Asia begins to embrace coffee over tea, it becomes more difficult to find a really rich, robust, but smooth Sumatra coffee.
I find Starbuck's (as usual) has the best beans available, the best roasting techniques, and has created a delightful taste experience for anyone who truly enjoys great coffee.
Having a cup of Starbuck's Sumatra coffee in the morning truly makes my day.
Starbuck's, you're the greatest!

Ordering coffee by mail, is a s easy as putting a teabag in a cup of hot water, the results are the same, no trouble at all. Sumatra, the bold coffee for the person who needs a quick fix for that wake up, get up and go kind of boost, without the trouble of going to the medicine cabinet and popping a pick me up pill. LOVE IT

I love Sumatra Dark roasted coffee so much, I bought the company! Just kidding. But, if I had the resources, I would buy it in a heartbeat. Just a suggestion: Anybody that orders (6) bags or more at a time should get one of your classy Starbucks coffee cups on the house. If I owned the company, that's what I would do.
