This is the first coffee I have ever tried from Peru. If this is a good indication of what Peruvian coffee is like then I want to try a lot more Peruvian coffee.
In a word, this coffee is stunning. I really enjoyed the citrus notes of this coffee. I actually paired this coffee with orange wedges and it was a great pairing. I had this coffee as iced coffee and it was amazing.
If you like coffees that can be described as bright, floral, or citrussy then this is a coffee for you. It works really well as iced coffee because of the citrus and floral notes.
I brewed this coffee in a French press. I have found that a paper filter mutes acidity in coffee and this coffee shines thanks to its acidity. It reminds me of a good Ethiopian coffee with orange notes instead of lemon. There is a hint of nuttiness but it is a background player. Personally, I didn't pick up the cocoa notes but I did pair it with oranges so that could be the reason why.
If more of this coffee becomes available I will definitely be buying more. This is my favorite coffee to use for iced coffee and with summer just around the corner I am hopeful that I will be able to get my hands on more of this coffee.
As a Starbucks partner I am always so pleased to come across a new coffee that is unique and distinctive. Of the coffees we sell year-round, Kenya is my favorite and this coffee builds on what I like about Kenya. I believe this is one of the finest coffees Starbucks has ever offered.
Yes, I recommend this product.

When I first was handed this coffee, there was such a cocoa noted aroma that it flooded my senses causing me to smile. It's moments like the one this coffee brings that cause me to continually enjoy tasting new coffees and experiencing what it has to offer. With a beautiful story, and amazingly balanced flavors, I can't wait to share this coffee with my friends and family.

It had a nice and smooth taste with what I would classify as a medium-light roast. It has a light acidy undertone that quickly fades away when drinking.
I got a strong taste of cream, and some lighter notes of milk chocolate, toffee, and a little orange.
It has a very clean and mellow aftertaste that I like.
