This was an extremely smooth coffee, maybe too smooth for me. I didn't get the butterscotch or maple flavor or aroma.

It was the most God awful coffee I have ever tasted from Starbucks. I normally enjoy every one of your coffees. Every one of them! Not this one. After one grind and brew, I sipped it and it was not pleasantly received. I could NOT drink it. I gave the beans away. It was awful!

Hence the reason for four stars. As usual with my experience with these reserve batches, the notes I tasted were not necessarily the notes described. I did not taste anything like maple or butterscotch, and I'm not sure what "woodsy evergreen" is supposed to taste like. What I did taste was an herbal note, which may be similar to the woodsy evergreen. Tastes like a medium roast with low acidity and clean finish. All in all, worth the price, just not worth more.

This was my first time trying one of the Reserve coffees. I must say this will be the smoothest coffee you ever brew. Needs nothing, flavor stands alone. If you add creamer or sweetner I think you risk ruining the taste.

Really liked this coffee. Ordered on-line after reading flavor profile. Can taste the maple tones with slight butterscotch. Best feature is its smoothness. No bitterness. I am ordering more.
