Are you people serious? Doesn't keep it hot for longer than 45 min. I find it keeps my coffee hot as I brewed it for almost an 1:30 min then its on the good side of hot. I have a 45 min drive plus a day and don't drink it till I get to work as its almost to hot to drink it for the first 20 min like burn you hot. To those who can't keep it hot what do you brew your coffee with as with the mocha master this is perfect . If you don't brew hot it won't stay hot long it's simple stuff. I don't write many reviews but I had to speak up cause this thing works . I have a ceramic one that I use and got this for more room cause I needed more wake up juice and couldn't have been happier and shocked it kept warm so long . Buy it send me the bill if you don't like it

I'm extremely disappointed. I have other Starbucks SS dble-walled tumblers that keep the coffee hot. This one really disappoints. I even fill it with hot water for a few minutes (exactly like I do with my other cups) before pouring my coffee. I also don't think the handle will last as long as the others, plus I'm not crazy about how firmly the flip-top lid will last with a decent seal. I REALLY wish I hadn't bought either of the two that I did. BRING back the older style with the hard handle that had a spring clip from about 6 years ago. That was a GREAT tumbler. I'd still have it if I hadn't dropped the cup and broken the lid and had been able to replace it!

I should have believed the one review that rated this a "one star". As soon as I poured hot coffee, I could feel the heat coming through, and it was actually hot to the touch. Good thing it had a handle. So the drink cooled down significantly faster - in less then 45 minutes. I long for the good tumblers that Starbucks used to sell - one that actually kept drinks hot for hours, and the lids closed tight so there is no worry about spills. I would not want to clip this one on a bag for it to be swayed for fear of spilling.

Just bought this tumbler from my local store, and so far it has been great. Keeps my coffee hot for hours. Hot enough that it took awhile for it to cool down enough to actually drink it. Cool looking too, and I like the grip on the handle.

The basic look of this mug is great. However, the newer designs seem to insist on installing a flip cap to seal the coffee and prevent spilling. The lid, unfortunately, is so shallow that the hinge of the flipper bumps my nose when I take a swallow in the car (where it is more difficult to lean your head back). I like my older Starbucks cup that I bought 10 years ago and still use. The other irritation is that the lid has shallow screw threads and the lid binds some when you try to seal the lid on. Hence, the 2-star rating.

This is the first travel mug that has kept my coffee hot for a LONG time. I left it in the car, 38 degrees outside, for an hour and came back to a coffee that was on the correct side of warm. I am very impressed. The caribeaner hook is not metal, but maybe silicone and might break if used a lot, but that still doesn't stop me from giving this 5 stars. It is now my go-to cup, usurping my other SB cup.

My husband LOVES this mug! He can clip it to his backpack/messenger bag-even when full.
I had originally bought it for myself but when he used it first, well he loved it so much that I gave it to him! (He's a hard person to buy gifts for so it was a lot of fun to see him enjoy the mug.)

I like the size of this mug and it keeps the coffee very hot for a long time. However the handle broke away from the mug, at the top on one side, the first time I used the mug. Very disappointing as this was expensive. I continue to use it but have to be very careful with the handle. I would not recommend this mug.

Buy this product if you like the way it looks not the way it works. Coffee does not stay hot, cap is a nice change but leaks when tilted over. Please bring back the older model with thicker insulation and a stronger, tight sealed top. Built on the cheap but the price is not for what you get.

I really like this tumbler! I use it for coffee in the morning, tea in the afternoon and water in the evening all with just a rinse and it never tastes funny! No taste transfer between the drinks! The handle is also very convenient and useful since it has proven to be leak proof. You can also put the lid on facing either way depending on which Han you want to hold the cup with....very ingenuous! The opening is also pretty easy to drink from. It keeps my ice water cold all night with still a lot of ice in it. My tea stays hot for about 2 hrs and then it's too Luke warm for me. Coffee I drink to fast to care. Over all love it so far!
