I loved this tumbler. It great to drink from ceramic. Its heavy and retains heat very well. I was using it every day... until it fell over in my sink and broke. I had seen the other reviews about how easy it breaks but i figured those were "big" drops, so i was careful. Nicely enough Starbucks is refunding my money with out sending back the broken tumbler.

So I found that filling mine with super hot water first while my coffee perks helps it stay warmer longer. I do love it for my iced lattes too. I live in Fl. Land of summer by day, winter by night at least this year.

Still looking for the perfect coffee tumbler

I was super excited for this tumbler: outside steel durability with ceramic interior. Unfortunately it lacks the ability to hold heat: within a half hour my steaming hot breve is lukewarm. Bummer! Still love the design but will probably only be using it for iced beverages.

I had a large ceramic Starbucks mug that I absolutely loved. Unfortunately I dropped it and that particular product is no longer available. For some reason I like my coffee in a ceramic container. I have never liked paper, steel, styrafoam, or plastic for my coffee. This one is ceramic inside and stainless steel on the outside. It protects my hands from the heat better than my old favorite did and delivers the ceramic containment that my OC demands!

This is not a true travel tumblr! It has glass which breaks very easily. I have broke two of these and will be going back to Starbucks to exchange for a true tumblr. This tumblr is very pretty but is not durable which is very disappointed.

This tumbler does NOT hold the drink heat for very long. My old Starbucks double-wall metal tumbler kept my coffee hot during my 1.5 hour commute and WELL into the day if I didn't happen to finish it earlier. Not so with this tumbler - by the time I got to work with this mug, my coffee was cold.
Also, they say the tumbler keeps your hands cool while the drink stays warm. I would have to disagree with this statement: as soon as I picked up this tumbler I could feel the warmth. My old metal one (mentioned above) did a much better job, because I never felt any type of warmth on the exterior.

Purchased this on a trip to VA. Got the tumbler in Purple and loved the look. Unfortunatly the lid did not keep coffee as cold as some of the other and the first time it was dropped the ceramic cracked. I went on line to purchase a replacement because I still loved the look, but cannot find it in the purple only the stainless.

I like this travel cup a lot. The only thing I would change would be the lack of lid. It seems to lose a lot of heat out of the top and I have to be careful not to tip it.

This tumbler pairs the best of stainless steel and ceramic -- it has the best of both worlds. The feel of sipping from ceramic is much better than plastic and the stainless steel keeps my drinks hot or cold.

Nice mug, but broke after a few days

I really liked this mug, good weight, and having the lip ceramic made it really nice to drink out of instead of plastic or metal.
However, mine broke after a few days. It fell over in the sink and the ceramic top broke. I knew I had to be careful with it but I was pretty surprised how easily it broke. I like it, but I'm not sure I can spend another $17 to replace it.

Love this cup, it keeps the coffee hotter longer than any other mug I have come accross!
