I ACTUALLY BOUGHT THIS COFFEE FOR MY SON, WHO IS VERY PARTICULAR ABOUT COFFEE AND WILL NOT DRINK JUST ANY COFFEE. HE IS QUITE THE CRITIC IF HE DOESN'T LIKE A COFFEE.
HE CALLED ME AND WAS RAVING ON THE TASTE AND QUALITY OF COLUMBIA SUPREMO VALLEY OF GOLD. HE LOVES IT! I GUESS I MADE THE RIGHT CHOICE AND AM SO HAPPY HE APPROVES! NOW I WILL HAVE TO BUY SOME FOR MYSELF.

The SB Description of the coffee pretty much hits the nail on the head, although I personally didn't notice any herbal notes. I did notice that there was no bitterness or acidic texture, it was very smooth and would make a great dessert coffee or that very first cup in the morning to start the day with a smile.

Very rarely do I buy special or reserve coffee. Decided to try the Columbia for fun. SO GLAD I DID! This coffee is smooth and not at all bitter or overwheming. I was very surprised. As another reviewer mentioned, it's palatable black. I'll have to buy another bag, or two, and treat myself on occasion.

This is now one of my favorite coffees. At first sip it's warm and nutty followed by a cocoa mouthfeel. I could drink this coffee all day!

I have always enjoyed "Columbia" coffee beans even when they were readily available at Starbucks back before Starbucks apparently started using Columbia beans to make the VIA product and quit offering them in the local shops. When I saw this offering online I couldn't resist and ordered two bags. The price is a little high for someone that is unemployed so this was a one time treat for me. But if you have the means, I highly recomend Columbia Coffee beans Starbucks Reserve!!!! The aroma and flavor of Columbia beans is like no other beans in my oppinion.

Very smooth and blends well with anything you choose to use to sweeten or lighten it up with. An amazing full bodied coffee with lots of character. All coffees are different and this one is no exception. I find myself using slightly less than I've gotten used to with other types within the Reserve family to get the same taste results. I highly advise a person to buy this one snd soon .
