my main problem is, even though i follow the directions, it never tastes the same as when my baristas make it...oh well :<{

This is not the original mocha powder that starbucks uses in their drinks, or what they used to sell in their stores. You might as well use hershey's cocoa, it is probably the same. I dont recommend this product, it is a cheap imitation.

It was awesome. I have been trying to copy my favorite Starbucks mocha, with this product I think i did It! here is my exact recipe:
1 1/2 C milk
2T Starbucks coco powder
1/4 C of your favorite creamer ( I like coconut)
1 packet Starbucks Via
Heat milk, coco powder an Via in sauce pan till very hot.
In microwave safe liquid measure cup (a big one) add creamer heat 30 seconds
Froth creamer in same cup
In large mug add hot coffee/coco mixture top with creamer.
Find a place to relax and enjoy...

i have a verissimo machine at home and use via instant packets on the go as well as stopping into a starbucks store for my triple long shot espressos, but when I do wish for a treat od more fulfilling drink I make a latte and just love the mocha powder to kick it ua notch, great product with such a good taste, so days I do not leave home I can still uterly enjoy my starbucks coffes at home in a pajama , life is good.

I'm so glad Starbucks brought this product back for retail sale. It's wonderful, and I've never been able to replicate the taste with other products (back when this wasn't avaialble for sale by Starbucks). Highly recommend it, if you like the mocha flavoring from Starbucks.

This is the best mocha powder I have found. It is lower in calories than most cocoa mixes. It has less sugar also. I enjoy a good chocolate flavor that is not too sweet. Mixes easily.

Kept a can over the winter months for late-night hot chocolate or morning mochas. Now a permanent item in my kitchen and a hard habit to break. I noticed that its soluble only in hot milk.

I wish Starbucks would make this available all year round. I ran out and ordered it off their site. I don't make it like the can says. I put a couple of rounded teaspoons in a cup add a snall amoount of water, milk or coffee, stir slightly, and heat in the micro. Then it will mix with stirring easily, add milk, or milk and coffee and to top it off I add a couple of pumps of peppermint Starbucks syrup (ordered off the net, and wallah! Peppermint Mocha, comparable to the store drink. I do this when I want a reward for about anything I do!!
