Love how the hearts turn red when making my coffee. The only problem I have with it is the lid. It's a little hard to open so be careful when opening the lid if u have a hot beverage.

I like the fact that there are red hearts to indicate your coffee is hot. However, the lid collects coffee in the lid area and if you are not aware of this coffee spills out all over you. Depending on how hot your coffee is, you can burn yourself.

Beside the fact that it does not really keep the coffee hot or even warm, it is near impossible to get this newly designed lid upen. I think I will take back.

I love practically everything Starbucks...including this clear tumbler. But so far, I have not been able to get the Hearts to go red. It is still a great tumbler, but I cannot recommend it without saying it doesn't work as advertised. I have not put boiling water into it yet, but I do not think coffee is that hot??? (I am thinking that boiling point is what you want to avoid when brewing coffee) But I guess I will try that. Although maybe you are supposed to add cold beverage? I am keeping this tumbler nevertheless, as it is very appealing to the eye, and keeps beverage at temp.

I enjoy Starbucks and the items they sell usually, but I just received my "changing colored heart" tumbler and the hearts do not change color. I would usually send the product back, but it's just too much hassle. I do recommend Starbucks items, just not this one.

I was very disappointed. The hearts on my mug did not change color, but remain black. Starbuck's was very kind and refunded my money, but still disappointing.

I own a lot of mugs, and I love this one. I was waiting to see if the husband would buy it for me for Valentine's day, but ended up buying it for myself.
It keeps your drinks warm for a long time, and the top is super easy to clean. The design on it was like it was made just for me, especially the cameras and cassettes.
The thing I both like and don't like is that the hearts don't appear unless the coffee is fresh, at least for me. We have a thermal carafe, and if the coffee has been in there for an hour, the hearts don't change....but if I make a fresh cup with my Keurig, they change colors. I like to think of this as 1, they won't wear out quickly, and 2, It's an indicator that the coffee isn't going to burn my face off when I drink it.
date stamped on the bottom as 2009, but I've never seen it before. Not as delicate as my ceramic tumblers, so I don't feel like I have to be as gentle. I love it and would definitely buy again.

This mug, and every mug I've ever owned from Starbucks is awesome!!
They never leak, and that's important to me because sometimes I like to throw it in my purse, and we all know we don't want coffee leaking all over the contents!
The color changing red hearts are fun, and the mug keeps my coffee hot for a long time.
