It occurred to me that switching to stainless and ceramic drinkware for hot and/or acidic beverages to avoid leeching plastic toxins was silly if I continued to use a plastic filter cone.
After scouring the internet, I found this Starbucks ceramic pour-over brewer beats the competition hands down — it was the most affordable, sturdiest option. Bought two — one for me, one for spouse. Consistent quality, works like a charm, no problems, just great tasting coffee.
My only wish is that Starbucks would add a stainless steel version. Ceramic is super ... except when the risk of breakage is high, such as when camping and traveling.

Decided to purchase this after reading all the good reviews online. They were right! Put in a coffee filter, add the required amount of grounds (I use about 3 tbsp), and pour hot water over top. Having an electric water kettle definitely makes the process even faster. I used a 4 cup regular coffee filter which worked fine. Just be sure not to pour water too close to the edge otherwise the filter will topple over and you might get grounds in your cup of joe. Only complaint I have about this product is that the bottom seems to be uneven so it doesn't sit flat when placed on the countertop. Overall though, a great buy.

I was totally unaware of the Pour Over Brewer method until began searching for a way to make my single cup of morning coffee. My three requirements: it had to make excellent coffee (Starbucks of course), definitely be steaming hot, and simplicity a must. Starbucks website had exactly what I wanted! My unit is very high quality, and absolutely exceeds my requirements. If I had to evacuate home at a moments notice, my Starbucks Pour Over Brewer would be 1st in my purse and out the door!!

Pour over coffee is a great way to produce a single cup of coffee. This pour over cone provides tremendous convenience in a simple, easy to use design. There are pour over cones on the market from Japan that cost 2 to 3 times as much and quite honestly, they don't perform any better.
The value for the money for this brewer is unmatched. It's made of ceramic which means minimal heat loss for your hot water. It's also dishwasher safe but I find hand washing to be easier. Its simple design takes the guesswork out of pour over brewing.
As a Starbucks partner there are some coffees I believe taste better when brewed by pour over and this is the brewer I use for all my pour overs. I have given this as a gift to friends and family and it has been a hit every time because it works. The only drawback is that there is no way to see into the cup below to know just how full it is getting which means you either need to have your water pre-measured before starting your pour over, or you just lift up the brewer periodically to see how full your cup is. That's what I do and it isn't a terrible inconvenience.

I bought this one for a gift and the recipient was very grateful. It was actually the second one I bought for a gift. I also received one at Christmas. This brewer is great for afternoon coffee when I only want one cup. Very easy to use! Coffee tastes great!

A simple brewer that yields great results. Just put in a #2 filter, scoop in your desired amount of coffee, pour over boiling water and you get a fresh cup of coffee every time.

I purchased this product because I wanted an easy way to make a single cup of coffee. I love my French Press, but sometimes I just need a little coffee to get me going! I saw this pour-over in my store (I am a partner), and I decided to give it a try. Its pretty inexpensive - just under $10 - and is great quality. The entire piece is a solid white ceramic, with ridges on the inside of the cone to make removing the filter easy. It comes with a few filters to get you started.
It is so easy to use! Just place a filter in the cone and run a little bit of hot water through the filter. Then, add however much coffee you want (ground to a sand like texture) and pour water over the grounds slowly. There are different recommended ratios (I use about 25 g coffee and 400 g of water) - you can experiment to see what ratio you prefer. When you are done, you can just pull the filter out - so simple to clean! I can't imagine a way to make a fresh cup of coffee.
