These are great coffee mugs. Oversized but not too big. A good solid feel, with a roomy handle for larger hands. Dishwasher safe. I hope Starbucks releases a few more new designs and colors in this style.

I love these cups. I bought orange ones with elephants on them and saw these and had to have them for my collection. I'd recommend them for any serious coffee or tea drinker. :)

This mug looks great on the table, and feels solid in the hand. Side walls are slightly thicker than most other mugs I own and the handle is large enough to provide a secure grip. Great design for us outdoorsy types!

Great looking mug. Heavy duty. Coffee stays good and hot but apparently it requires hand washing. I'll have to be careful not to stick it in the dishwasher by mistake.

The Starbucks bear coffee mug is the best coffee mug along with the Dragon. The rim of the bear mug is perfectly smooth and easy to drink from. The black finish with the turquoise inlay make this one of the most beautiful coffee mugs that starbucks produces. In closing please produce a gorilla mug next. I was very sad last month when my favorite mug broke, but this one came along to take its place and it's even better!
Why?
1) Love the design. That's what caught my eye to begin with. The bear is slightly recessed and feels like raw ceramic. The "black" background is not a harsh black--it's almost a very deep navy blue. It has a pleasantly smooth matte feel. And the blue inside is a very soothing shade.
2) It's huge! It holds twice as much as those puny regular mugs.
3) My husband can get his whole hand in it, which makes it easy to wash.
4) It's ever so slightly curved, giving it a nice feel in the hand. The handle is comfy, and the lip is neither too thin nor too thick.
5) Did I mention it's pretty?! And holds a lot?!

P.S. You should know that the opposite side of the mug does say "Starbucks" at the top, but it fits well with the overall design and is not obnoxious at all. It's maybe 1/4" high and 2" wide, if that (keeping in mind that the mug itself is larger than your average mug).
