Incredibly smooth, tastes great no matter what method you use to brew it. I used to drive around to every Starbucks in town to buy this coffee. Then, once it was only available online, I would order multiple bags at once since my husband, friends, and I could drink it by the gallon. I hope Starbucks starts carrying this coffee again soon!

It is sooooo smoooooth and non-acidic. I really like the fact that it is organic. I bought this at my local Starbucks store and when I went back to purchase more was told it was discontinued. I was thrilled to find it on line!

iv'e bought mex coffee for about 6 yrs and this has got tobe the worst batch of coffee if star bucks doesn't tighten up i''ll just go back to maxwell at least i'll have no high expectations

Sometimes this particular coffee is difficult to find at the free standing Starbucks stores and I have yet to find it in a store inside a store. To eliminate the amount of stress in life over which I have control, I have decided to just order it online - should have thought of that earlier....I must not have had enough Organic Shade Grown Mexico. I have my picky 5 cup European coffee maker with which I can vary the taste of this one coffee from seemingly light to dark, when it is really just weak to strong controlled by the number of beans I grind for the pot. It is a diverse coffee when serving individuals who do not like medium to dark coffee, I just use less beans and they love it. Anyway, seriously this is my go to coffee, just the BEST for me!

Am still tinkering with brewing amount, which is fussier to achieve than most of what I drink. This one's milder than my customary brew (Italian Roast). Wouldn't touch it in the winter, but as a summer coffee, seems to have a pleasant balance--a light note that goes down pretty easy. If you like your coffees on the milder side, this one is definitely worth trying. I'm still deciding, since I've yet to reach my ideal brew strength on this one...

I first purchased a bag of the nonorganic shade grown Mexican coffee from Mexico, and loved it ever since! The only reason I gave it 4 out of 5 stars is because you can only purchase it online!! Not convienent! Please put it back on the shelf:)! Thanks and Enjoy!

I'm not an expert on the nuances and subtleties of coffee flavors. For me, Starbucks shade-grown from Chiapas is the best coffee ever. The aroma is delightful, and the taste is incomparable. It is VERY important that Starbucks continues to make available this distinctive coffee.

Open the bag... Inhale the gorgeous aroma. Grind and brew. A deep nutty flavor with aroma intact and the flavor lingers on and on. Can drink it black and is Simply Delicious. A touch of unsweetened soy milk also brings out a softer nuance. I love this coffee and it's Organically Grown... so a Healthier choice as well.
