I must say first that I tried the tinned version of this cocoa, and am saving the cocoa mix that I just purchased for my husband's birthday -- so I have not tried this specific, packaged version of the product yet. However, I chose this flavor based on the three-tin cocoa variety gift from Starbucks, and am assuming that it is the same powder as this mix -- if not, my apologies.
The salted caramel flavor is enjoyable and piquant; the slight taste of salt adds verve. The product tastes fine with water and makes good frozen or baked chocolate desserts. It also tastes especially good as cocoa with a mix of cream and milk. Adding this salted caramel flavor to other cocoas, such as unsweetened cocoa or low calorie mixes, gives the result a nice lift of flavor.

It separates and you have to stir constantly and then the caramel pieces are settled at the bottom so you get very little caramel flavor while drinking. Not like at the shop at all.

This stuff tastes NOTHING like the Salted Caramel Hot Chocolate in stores. I've tried it with diff types of milk and even water! Big disappointment. If you're wondering it just tastes like regular hot cocoa...for twice the price. Is it really a Salted Caramel Hot Cocoa Mix that I have to add my own salt AND caramel/flavoring to? If so...dead on.

The Salted Caramel Hot Cocoa is one of my favorites at the store. I was excited to find a tin at a local department store in the Holiday Gift Section. I purchased it for myself 4 days ago and it is gone! It was wonderful. I was glad to find it on the website so I can order it again. Great taste...I enjoyed it very much!

It was a great disappointment to buy this thinking it was going to taste like the salted caramel you get at starbucks, only to find out it just taste like any other hot chocolate. This was the first time starbucks let me down on any of their products.

Once I figured out that its best to wait a few minutes after putting the mix in
the warm milk its really good. If you drink to soon its disapointing and when you poor it
out you find everything sitting on the bottom of your cup. SO definetly be patient, and
you will like it.
