So delicious!! I mixed 2T of mix with 3 oz of hot espresso, then added steamed milk (I have a cappachino maker) and topped with whipped cream and caramel sauce. My nearest Starbucks is 30 minutes away, so this is a lifesaver.

Our office received a box of this for a Christmas gift. As a non coffee drinker, I was particularly excited. Definitely heed the instructions that you should mix a cup of hot milk with this mix. In doing that, I think it would be much better than with water.
I used a cup of hot water to save calories, and I wasn't that impressed. I couldn't taste the salted caramel at all. As many other reviewers have noted, this is a dark cocoa. If you love dark chocolate, you will probably love this. I simply found it a little strong. And mixed with a cup of water, it tasted like a melted Hershey's special dark chocolate bar - couldn't taste any caramel whatsoever. I will probably try this again with milk next time. However, I just didn't like it enough to buy another box. It was just ok in my book - not spectacular.

This is my favorite hot cocoa. Love the single serve packets, which makes it easy to tuck a few into a gift bag for a friend. Rich taste with the perfect hint of salt. Have tried pricier brands; however, this is better than those.

I made it with water to save on calories and it tasted ok. Made it with soy and it tasted ok. Made it with milk (like the directions indicated) and it tasted delicious!

Tastes nothing like the Salted Caramel Hot Chocolate in the store. I am extremely disappointed at this attempt at recreating the store product, Very bitter with no hint of Salted Caramel, Try ,Try, Again. I would have given it no stars as an overall rating but one star is as low you can go.

I have had a couple servings so far. It was decent, but not quite as good as I hoped for. I think maybe it is just too much to ask for from a packaged drink to pull off the salted caramel part. Regardless of whether I added the milk to the mix or vice-versa, there are undisolved white and dark nuggets that will sink firmly to the bottom. Not sure what to do with these as I transfer to my mug, nor exactly what they are. The final drink has a muddied overall flavor and not so much a good hot chocolate with an added enhancement.

In no way tastes like the Salted Caramel Hot Chocolate in the store. The box product is very bitter compared to the store made version. Also, I cannot detect any hint of caramel or salt in the box product. At first I was so excited to find it- it was a surprise find and it made a not so great night great until I prepared it. I was extremely disappointed at Starbucks' attempt at recreating the store made product as it does not come close. Starbucks should make it more of a sweeter milk chocolate flavor with a separate pack included in the box containing a caramel topping to add on your own and/or another pack with the sugar/salt to sprinkle on top on your own as well. Also, there were white clumps that would not dissolve or blend into the drink.

This is my favorite hot chocolate to buy at starbucks stores so I had to buy some for home! It's more expensive than the regular hot chocolate at the grocery store so I only make it when I'm having a bad day and want to relax. I put whipped cream and caramel topping on it!

Starbucks Hot Chocolate is a very rich and flavorful drink, and it's difficult to find anything else that's as good. I was expecting a little bit more of a defined salty taste, but that's OK. I whip up a bit of foam, add a little extra caramel sauce, and some smoked salt of my own, or regular fleur de sol from France…YUM!
