The thermal carafe does not stay warm, it doesn't pour well, & it takes way too long to brew a pot of coffee. I may have gotten a lemon don't know but would not recommend this coffee pot .

I received this as a Christmas gift from my daughter, former Starbux ee/sup.
I was excited because not only was the coffee maker from Starbux, it's a Bunn.
The machine is a fail. It leaks. Called about it (in all fairness Bunn customer service was great), was sent a new gasket which failed after six weeks.
I want to purchase a Verisimo, but this experience prevents me. I would be an idiot to spend so much money and end up with another hunk of junk.

You can not pour the water or coffee as fast as the last maker we had that we bought in store. We had a gold filter type before and really enjoyed the ease and coffee taste thru that unit. this one you have to use paper filters and we do not get that great taste that we enjoy.Our daughter is an employee of Starbucks in Corp. in Seattle..

The worst feature is the stainless steel caraffe . After you pour the first cup, it dribbles and leaks down the sides of the pot and onto the counter. No matter how you hold it, you spend more time cleaning up the mess.

The first coffee maker received made great coffee but the warming plate didn't work so coffee was cold after a very short time. The warming plate light also was not lit for the two hours after brew. The second maker makes great coffee, keeps the coffee hot for two to three hours, however the warming plate light is not lit to let you know that it is on.

Unit looks very nice, and heats coffee up which is awesome! Sometimes the coffee taste slightly burnt, which isn't so good! Average coffee maker, but I needed a new one and I like my coffee like my ladies, Very HOTTTT

I cannot lie, the machine makes good coffee. The unit itself needs help. First, the carafe has no fill lines so it’s not much help in measuring your water. Second, the water-line indicator on the face of the unit is white plastic as opposed to clear. You have to have the ‘exact’ angle of light to be able to read this shading through the window. Additionally, the edges of this window creates its own shadows thus making it frustrating to try and see anything. Finally, the pour spout pours coffee around the tip, which you cannot see, so when the cup is full I have a giant puddle running down my cabinets onto the floor, and I mean a lot. I thought I was doing something wrong so I tried different approaches. The winner: you have to take the lid off to pour it without spilling. This one’s going back.

As other reviews, yes it doesn't empty the carafe unless you tip it completely upside down but I like the fact that I can fit my hand to clean the inside. Makes good coffee. No way to pour a cup during the brewing process but I just have to be patient until brewing is complete.

This is an excellent coffee maker. The only drawback to this coffee maker is that the minimum amount the operator can brew is 4 cups. Otherwise, great coffee maker.

The first two times I used this brewer, it made some pretty fine tasting coffee. Unfortunately, the third time I tried to use it, the heating element sat there for 10 minutes doing nothing. Tried it a couple more times just to be sure, but got the same result. Perhaps some of these had a bad batch, but I ordered mine only a couple weeks ago, so until Bunn stops having faulty units, I cannot recommend this product, as warranty service is always such a hassle!

I love the Bunn Coffe Maker so much that I have wanted to make coffee all day long. Unlike so many other coffee makers I have had, this coffee maker makes the hottest, best coffee! I also love that the coffee get wet equally instead of the cone drip filter which seems to just make a hole down the middle. It is easy to use and to clean! If you are looking for a coffee maker that makes HOT coffee, this is your ticket!

I use the Bunn brewer almost every day. I love that I can set it all the night before and I wake up to Starbucks coffee in my own kitchen. It has the exact same flavor as the brewer I use at Starbucks when I'm working.
After working for Starbucks for almost 7 years now, this is the closest thing I have found to what we use at the store. It may even be a better cup than we can make.
You'd be hard-pressed to find anything better.

This is the first time I've spent more than $80 on a coffeemaker. It is worth it, my friends! Bunn and Starbucks is the perfect marriage. All it took is one use, and I'm hooked. The coffee taste is so different than what I've brewed before, and it really is just like what you taste in a Starbucks store! I used the same amount of water and the same number of scoops, to make a fair comparison. Ironically, there is no comparison! This is THE coffeemaker if you're looking for a truly robust and flavorful cup o' joe. The coonstruction of the unit is quality, too, and its appearance is modern without being way out there--fits the decor of my conservative kitchen. Filling the water tank is easy, and the carafe does not drip--nice and neat. Controls are simple and easy to operate. I'll bet that when it comes time for a quarterly cleaning, that'll be a cinch, too. Don't waste time looking at other products; this is the one you want. If you can't afford $140, save up for it; it's worth it.

My husband and I are very picky coffee drinkers, so we have never found a coffee maker that tastes just like the coffee that you get from Starbucks. This coffee maker has come the closest to the taste we were looking for and we don't have to leave the house to get it. We have tried many other coffee makers without luck so it was a relief to find this one. It was a fair price and dose not look like cheap plastic like many others do. Easy to use right out of the box. It is also good for those who don't want the coffee going through plastic because everything but the lid is stainless steal. Overall I am very happy with this product.

I've used a Starbucks Barista coffee maker for years, so when it finally began to leak, I went to your website, hoping to replace it. I was very disappointed to see Starbucks has discontinued making coffee makers. I decided to take a chance on the Bunn Phase Brew. Big Mistake! I ran water through it twice and on the third push of the button, it stopped working. Please discontinue carrying such an unreliable product on your website--it certainly doesn't reflect the quality of product I've come to expect from Starbucks.
