I was somewhat concerned about the roast quality of this iconic bean. However I was pleasantly surprised. I made my first 3 cups and they were delightful: smooth, rich and powerful, without the burnt aftertaste. I highly recommended and will be placing another order.

This is the smoothest coffee i have ever drank. Not a touch of bitterness and totally awesome flavor. One of my absolute favorites. Might be worth a trip to Jamaica!!

Very nice smooth coffee. Wonderful aroma. (Though I will admit that I think it tasted slightly better when I had it at a Starbucks with the clover machine.)

The Blue Mountain coffee is so smooth and flavorful - it is awesome - I received my shipment very quickly and I don't have a coffee grinder so I took the bag of beans to a local Starbucks store and they very cheerfully ground it for me. Happy all around :)

Full disclosure, I do work at Starbucks, so I've tasted a lot of coffee. I had the pleasure of tasting this one on the Clover machine recently and it was absolutely fabulous. Perfectly balanced with just a touch of acidity and dark cocoa notes. One of my all-time favorites.

We do our morning coffee at home, and have enjoyed dozens of different coffees, both Starbucks and others. But none of them comes close to Starkbucks Jamaica Blue Mountain in. It is the ultimate in good full, round, flavor for us. Even when we make it strong, it remains smooth as can be. No edges. It's well worth the extra cost. We're now finding it is difficult to go back to the others.

This coffee although touted as being rare and exceptional is underwhelming to say the least. Whether it was the roasting process and maybe heated too much but the result is a flat line taste without any depth or level of complexity. It does not open up in the mouth and is a one dimensional experience with a commercial aftertaste. I prepare pour over with a very specific formula using 26 grams of coffee for 8 fl oz of water, ground in a Barazza ceramic burr grinder heating the water to the exact temperature and use Hario filters. It did not stand anywhere close to some single estate coffees I have been drinking from Stumptown.

We've been to Jamaica and had this coffee. This didn't taste the same, and it wasn't as good as Tribute or other kinds of Starbucks. We're sorry we wasted the extra money on this.
