We have 2 of these and they have both held up very well. Drinks stay hot during Wisconsin winters and the lid is easy to screw and unscrew.
Our only issue has been dents in the mugs but that's because both mugs have survived falls from the top of vehicles onto concrete...and they are still intact and leakproof!

I got this as a birthday present from my sister. I used it for about 6 months but it wasn't without pain. The lid would never go on correctly. I'd have it on, think it was good, then it would pop right off and spill coffee on the floor, on me, whatever. I finally got to where I'd check it in the sink before allowing myself to drink from it. I'm not the only one this happened to, my husband, my sister, my mother, none of us could get the lid to fit right. I love Starbucks coffee mugs but this was just not a good one. It is possible that I just got a lemon but I wouldn't try another one like it.

I love this tumbler! It is cute and sleek but more importantly it keeps my tea warm for a long time. Having said that, my favorite part would have to be the cap that covers the drinking opening. It can easily be used to carry the tumbler when you don't have a free hand which is often the case when I'm out. Some reviewers complained about the size of opening being too small but it is perfect for me (its the same size of the opening on most standard disposable cafe style cup lids. The only drawback is the price. At the end of the day it is still just a beverage holder!!! I had a giftcard. I'm too practical to pay that amount of money out of pocket, but i do like it so if money is not an issue its definitely worth getting.

Roughly 13 years ago, I faced a brainstem surgery on a tumor that was located in between the fifth and sixth Pon's. It left half of my face paralysed and I can only drink out of certain containers due to the lack of lip "seal" over the opening. I recently saw this mug at a Starbuck's at the Casino and instantly knew it would work. Besides, looking great and having a tight lid. This mug keeps my coffee warm for hours. Now if Starbuck's would only tell me the manufacture, so I can order more?

The tumbler keeps the coffee very hot, and is comfortable to drink from.
The only drawback is the flavor of the last drink will always linger with the current one, even when washed with soap.
Consequently, I use it strictly for coffee.

I love this tumbler for several reasons. First, it keeps drinks hot or cold for VERY long time. Then the design is great. I don't like big handles and this mug offers a slick way to carry the tumbler with the small black "closing cover". It can double as a way to completely close the container or use it to carry. Love it! Only downside is the hand washing.

It's a bit big at first grasp, so I could see this being a somewhat of a challenge for someone with small hands. Otherwise, it's a great cup. I like the lid. Doesn't leak at all for me.

Ice gradually melts after 4 hours and all melts around 10 hours, but my drink still cold. I used it indoor around 85F indoor.

this is a very good tumbler. keeps coffee hot for up to 4 hours, but it isn't leak proof, so u have to be really careful.

When my old mug was worn out, I purchased this mug thinking that I was just replacing the old one. Was I ever surprised by the features of my new mug. The lid is easy to screw on. The flap is the easiest one I have ever had to lift up. I was pleasantly surprised that my coffee was still quite warm after 2-3 hours. I have already purchased one as a gift for my fellow coffee lover. Thanks for a great new travel mug.

I have a Starbucks RED stainless mug that does not leak therefore I had to replace it with something else that is also leak-proof. Even though this mug does not claim to be 100% leak-proof, I have not had an issues with it leaking - snug seal, fill it and go - no worries about coffee leaking out on my commute. Hot? Yep - one hour after tumbler filled - open for first drink and it is as hot as when I filled it. Leaving it open does allow it to cool - if left closed it would probably stay very hot for hours. I have only hand-washed it - no problems cleaning it - did not run lid through dishwasher as I don't want to possibly ruin the seal. Very happy with this tumbler - not the most exciting design...but a great all-purpose travel mug.

Ok, I do not get all giggly about a cup, but this one is so good. It never leaks or spills, keeps my coffee hot, and cleans so easily. It's so great that my husband decided he wanted one too! The only downside is that it does not come in an array of sizes!

I returned the "Rollerball Pattern Tumbler" and exchanged for this tumbler. I like this one quite a lot. Not as tall as some of the other tumblers yet still holds a full 16oz. Insulates well although the lid is fairly thin plastic and feels quite warm when full. Also don't like the drinking hole very much. There is no lip and you basically just suck on the little hole. The best Starbucks tumbler i own is still the "Stainless Steel Tumbler - Graphite". That tumbler insulates better than this one and the drinking lip is nice. See my reviews of the other two tumblers for more info.

Fits nicely in the keurig, seals well. Easy to clean. No rubber plugs that destroyed the cermanic SBux travel cups. Needs a wider drink hole.

This travel mug is AWESOME! I use it everyday for my hot teas & for my ice cold water. It doesn't melt the ice! This is the best travel mug I've ever owned! Definately recommend this! It's worth every penny!

This is the best coffee mug/tumbler that I have ever owned. It keeps your coffee hot, the lid is great for closing and keeping the coffee from spilling and you don't have to worry about the seal because it is a screw on top. Highly recommend it!

This is a great cup. Keeps coffee hot for hours and ice water cold for hours also. I used it recently in 90+ degree weather, and it kept ice in it for at least 3 hours! Great buy!
