The slightest impact to the lip of tumbler will split it in half quite literally. All it takes is to knock it over on desk such as touching it with sleeve as you reach for something or tapping it accidentally as you hand another mug over it to someone else. Yes both happened to me neither product lasted a full week. Go stainless steel.

I love this product. Not only do you get a discount on your coffee when you use it, it is eco friendly, and its perfect for on the go. It fits in just about any cup holder and it keeps your beverage WARM.
The # 1 thing I love about it is that I can fill out my drink in starbucks short hand on the cup, so I dont have to get confused trying to tell the barista what I want. I use sharpie on mine, and since its ceramic it washes right off with a sponge and water.

The lid needs to be a better heat seal. I like the feel of the mug and its looks, but my hot drinks do not stay hot as long as I was hoping they would.

I was disappointed that the ceramic traveler does not come with a lid that seals. It is a splash-proof lid, not one that prevents liquid from coming out if the tumbler falls over. I do love the style of the cup, though, and prefer it over a regular coffee cup.

My new car cup holders in the console want let you use the travel cups with handles. These cups fit perfect. No sliding but are easy to get out.

I bought one of these travel mugs about a year and a half ago and lost it recently. It was my favorite so I ordered not one, but two to replace it so my husband could have one too. It keeps the coffee hot, looks great, cleans easily, and most importantly it doesn't harbor "old coffee smell" like some some cups do. Plus you get a discount (I think it's ten cents) if you use when you buy coffee at Starbucks. FYI, it is a little heavy and you can't microwave it, but I was ok with that.
Some reviewers complained about the lid popping up, and I've experienced this as well when I first pour really hot coffee and get into a cold car. Just push it back down, or better yet, get a top hat lid. I got one for the first time with my new cup and love it. It probably works with the splash sticks too.
I also have to give Starbucks a gold star for customer service. Something in my order came in broken and my order was resolved right away (at no extra cost to me) by a very friendly and professional rep. Way to go Starbucks!

I have busy days and relaxed days, this is the first mug to fit both days yet without frills and trade-offs! I can be enjoying a cup of coffee at home, yet the next I can just pop on the lid and run errands with it. It is basically with me outdoors at least 3 days of the week, and I honestly can't imagine life without this one. It's even better with a nice hot Keurig Brewed K-Cup Coffee, and even better if the K-Cup is from Starbucks!
I bought this in a Holiday Bundle but, even without the additional Holiday enhancements, this price you are seeing is hard to beat because this is definitely a quality and sturdy mug. I can finalize, this mug can be in the top 5 best Traveler Mugs! Starbucks 100% delivered to me something I need again, and I thank them!

but i would hesitate to give this mug an endorsement for HOT tea or coffee... i made a cup of chamomile tea with this and i couldnt really hold the mug for very long before my hands were burning! otherwise a solid mug. bummer it can't be microwaved.

I have a whole set of the double wall ceramic cups and have given the travelers to both sisters, mother, brother and as soon as my son saw it he wanted one.....so it was a happy valentines to my son and his roommate in another state!
